Perhaps, folks in academia rely closely on the web for educational functions . However, statement means that numerous college students use the web for functions apart from academics. The current research aimed to determine the differences in internet use for social or educational functions among undergraduates in tertiary institutions in Nigeria. A complete of 200 undergraduates comprising female and male drawn from three tertiary institutions participated in the study.
